I don't know what to do! We want to visit WDW this year but have for the past 2 years gone just after Thanksgiving for 15 nights, enjoying all the Christmas decorations and extras. Now there's this great offer for October on the UK site which would save us 1200 dollars or so off the .com price this year. I must be silly to think we can get a better deal, and yet I've been holding off. I guess it's flights prices and I do hate the heat of that time year but when I look back on our 2005 trip of course we had a great time! Also the fact that Space Mountain and the PeopleMover will be in refurb, but then there is the Holloween party that we would love to attend again.

DBF Kev says we have time to think about it, but we won't mind him  . The Pop room I want will probably go soon, if they haven't already!

Do you think there will be a better offer on .com in a few weeks? Free dining won't even get up to the amount I'd be saving, and surely they won't combine free dining for 14 nights with an additional number of nights free?

Is it a package including flights? If not, have you checked the difference in the prices for the different dates? If it's over half-term, I'm guessing the savings in accommodation costs could quickly be swallowed up.

Hi Deb, thanks for replying, no it doesn't include flights. It's the current Disney UK offer of 4 free nights on a 14 night package and discounted 14 day Ultimate ticket. We would stay at the Pop Century and with the regular dining plan. Traveling Oct. 1st the package for two adults is 1501 pounds or 2078 dollars according to Google.
The package on .com with 10 park days is 3368 dollars. Saving us almost 1300 dollars, which we could then use for our flights. I don't know what's holding me back from booking it, I guess it's the uncertainty of what flights could end up being? Also I think deep down I feel we should wait until 2010, but I really want to go back badly, now :goodvibes !

If it was definitely cheaper I would book it up.

I think deep down you have already decided what to do you just want us to confirm it, so go ahead and get it booked:cool1: :cool1:

We were not going till next year but then a great deal came up so were going this year. It was the flight deal that came first & now we keep finding hotel deals. Have you checked out the prices? We're going in August so I'd think there would be some good deals for October. Good Luck.

I got sidelined by the price for Oct. on the UK site since they are having a sale, but actually if we travel at the end of Nov. the UK price is only 148 pounds more staying at the Pop Century. I know everyone was talking about the UK site being cheaper but the sale got me all in a tizzy I didn't think to check prices for Nov! So thick :sad2:! I prefer the Christmas season and the milder weather so now it's definitely decided :goodvibes .
New questions if you all have the heart..;) ,

I'm prone to panic a bit but I'd like to wait and see if there is a further sale for November. Hopefully a good idea? Or should I book it now?
If there is a sale for that time period I wonder when they would announce it? At least I know we will be going now, even at the regular price :yay:!

Also how long should I watch flights for before we book those? Last year Wayne saved the day when he found us our Lufthansa flights :thumbsup2 .

Thanks guys :) !

If you are happy with the price now and would be bothered if you lost the holiday, book, if not wait.

I never hang about for another price but that is usually because we go in July and I want the hotel and the weeks we want so I just book it up and never look back at the price. I like knowing it is all booked up and can just sit back and relax then rather than wait.

If you are prone to panic a bit, why run the risk if you are happy with the price get it booked and panic over.

I used to work in a travel agents many many years ago and I would always say to clients how never knew when to book.

If your holiday is no big deal, you can go whenever, stay where ever then wait for a bargain.

If on the other hand - you have set dates, you want to stay somewhere in particular and you're happy with the price then book.

Yes there will always be somebody sitting on the same flight and staying in the same hotel who paid less than you BUT and it's a big BUT - if you asked them and they gave you a totally honest answer - that holiday may not have been their "dream holiday" - just one they took for the price. You on the other hand have the holiday that you hand picked for you. You can't put a price on that!

Sorry if I went on abit! :lmao:

Thank you for your replies :) . Sorry I haven't been back sooner but working nights and so it's difficult to get online :). I will definitely consider booking this in the next few days as I'm beginning to agree regarding booking now. Disney dot com when I looked last, were not showing any Pop availablility for either Oct. or Nov. which for us, would not be good at all.
