Need help deciding what to do.....budget, timing, etc....

We were supposed to go on our dream vacation in September....we were all ready to go, had our reservations made, bags just about packed completely, disney dollars, and annual park passes bought. Two days before we were to leave, my father went into the hospital, and ultimately ended up having an above-the-knee amputation the day we were supposed to leave. We couldn't leave with everything that happened, and we postponed our trip. Two weeks later, my husband had shoulder surgery, and couldn't go for the rest of the year. We were lucky enough that disney didn't charge us a cancellation fee or anything. We rescheduled for the first week in February. However, my husband has been off of work longer than originally planned, and there is no definite set time for him to return just yet. So far, he has been paid 100%, but in late January, he may end up on 70% income with his disability plan. To top this off, they are considering another surgery for my father in late January (he has a tumor on his liver). Long story short, I'm just not sure what to do - I have these annual passes and disney dollars, and can't use them. I can't remember how much more money we will need, and am wondering if I should postpone our trip yet again until fall. Dh and I were thinking of trying to sneak in a week long trip between now and March anyhow....but I'm just not sure.
So, we have our AP's, and since dh works for an airline, we fly for free...transportation is taken care of. He gets an airline discount for onsite properties (usually 50% off the rooms). We would just need to save enough money for the room and food. I do have one $25 gc to rainforest saved up. My husband likes to eat, so it wouldn't be something we would want to skrimp on. I can bring breakfast foods for our room, and we have a portable electric cooler that we can use for lunch meats and such. Clothes are already set aside, so we won't have to shop for anything in that area. I have one bag still set aside with all our tolietries, sunscreen, etc. for the last trip. I can't think of anything else....what would you do, and what should I be saving for now?? What can I do to earn more money (besides ebaying)?

I say you need that vacation. Have you looked into the Ap rate at Allstars? Your disney dollars could also cover some of the food cost depending on how much you had. I would forgo souvineers just to get there.
