Need help deciding for hotels

Currently got 7night vacation booked at BWV but wondering should I modify to 6nights and have 1 night at the start in UOF signature hotel to get the express pass for the one day we are doing at UOF and IOA or should we stay at the same resort and purchase express single (not unlimited as can’t justify that expense.)

I would do one night at Universal, then move over to Disney. I am not a fan of split stays, but that split gets you great location to start your Universal day plus the express passes. And the hotel is probably cheaper than BWV.

Yes, the idea of moving and having to leave are stuff after check out is what is putting me off but I know the express passes will be handy especially with it been a Saturday in summer (a busy day)
