Hello everyone I need some help. We are staying on site for the first time. I am traveling with my DH, DD 9, DS 7, DS1. We currently have reservations at BCR, a garden view room conceirge level. My mom has just decided that she really wants to come with us. We would love the extra help so think its wonderful. Our concern becomes the room size. My DH is a little concerned waking up to his MIL first thing every morning. I see for almost the same price a deluxe room at WL which seems like it is much bigger. Our hearts were set on the BCR but now were second guessing if we should go for the bigger room with more privacy. I should mention were going in August so I know we will be spending some decent amount of down time in the room each day. After reading so many of the posts on here I know there are some Disney veterans out there who could guide me in the right direction to making a decision. As far as what parks we will go to we were going to try and hit them all but thought most time would be in MK and possibly Epcot. :dance3:

If you are spending most of your time at MK, and your husband will be happier with more room and privacy, I would go with the Deluxe room at the WL. You have the convenience of the ferry boat to the MK, and will have much more space to relax in the room. If you all feel too close for comfort, it could really affect your vacation.

That said, we love the YC/BC and Stormalong Bay would be great in the heat of summer.

I think you get concierge service with the deluxe rooms at the WL. That might help you to decide!

For me, WL no matter what. Stormalong is neat but I actually really like the WL pool too. The other thing is MK proximity, that is so handy at WL, I miss it when I'm not there. The boat is lovely. I also don't particularly love Epcot, my 2nd favorite park is AK with epcot probably being fourth so that holds no sway over me. I generally go to MK 4 times for every 2 to AK and 1 to epcot, 1.5/2 to DHS.

The extra space would be a bonus, but that proximity to MK in august (ive been in september so hot!) will be so nice, and the boat ride is nice and cool.

If I were making that decision, I would go with the Wilderness Lodge.

I have stayed at the BC and prefer the WL.

I would go with the WL as well. We've stayed at the BC and although it is a very nice resort, the WL is our second favorite (after the Poly ::yes::). Plus you would have the boat to/from the MK. :goodvibes.
