My DH and I are wanting to view Happily Ever After from the Top of the World Lounge in Bay Lake Tower. Our plan is to eat somewhere near there before the fireworks and go to the Tambu Lounge at the Poly for some Ohana bread pudding (either before or after dinner--we are ok eating dessert first!). Our original thought was to eat dessert first (right at 5:00 when the lounge opens to maybe avoid crowds) and then head over to The Wave for dinner around 6:30. Fireworks are supposed to be at 9:00. But we are ok eating anywhere on the monorail loop. Any suggestions?

According to allears.net, Tambu starts serving at 5 pm, but that was last updated almost a year ago, so hopefully someone whose been there most recently can chime in. If you are looking for something casual on the monorail, The Wave is a great choice. You could also make a little monorail crawl out of it, Tambu for bread pudding, GF Cafe (which is also good) for dinner and then end at TOWL.

I have thought about that. If we do go with The Wave, we might try an appetizer somewhere at GF. Any recommendations on one at their lounge?
We have lots of time that day, so we could start at GF for an appetizer, The Wave for a entree, and then Tambu for bread pudding, then monorail back around to the TOTWL. Good idea!

it's not on the menu, but you can order the bread pudding at Kona Cafe. I'd just go there and have a great meal.

I've actually never been to Mizner's, so I can't make a recommendation there. Have you thought about stopping at Trader Sam's at the Poly?! If you have the time, consider going to Trader Sam's at 4 pm and just getting drinks (they even have great "mocktails" if you don't want alcoholic drinks), bread pudding at Tambu, appetizer at Mizner's at GF, The Wave and then TOWL! Your plan is good too!

I didn't know that. We had talked about eating at Kona, but we've eaten there before and we like trying new places. We've only eaten breakfast at The Wave and have heard how good it is. That's why we were leaning towards it. But Kona is so good!
Is California Grill available?
I don't know. I don't make ADRs until Sunday. We have eaten there twice before and like it. If I ate there, I wouldn't bother going to TOTWL. I'd just go out onto the observation deck.

Question about the mocktails. We don't drink alcohol, but I'm super interested in the Lapu Lapu. Looking at allears, it appears I can get one at Trader Sam's or Tambu Lounge or even Kona if I decide to eat there. Have you had one? If so, is it good without the alcohol? Does it cost the same as the alcoholic version?
