I see in the travel center I can cancel my flights. Would I get credit for these flights (900.00) I am going to Phoenix in July and this would be under a year since I just booked these tickets last month. To get credit, do I need to call and talk to someone or can I go through the travel center online. Help, I never did this before and am cautious to proceed through the screens if I will not get credit. Thanks for any help.
Lori

P.S. the tickets I am cancelling are to Orlando in April (these were not fully refundable tickets so I think I would only get ticketless travel credits, I think)

Yes you will get credit - click the cancel flights button - enter your reservation number. Down at the bottom you will see something like $x refundable, and $Y non-refundable .. if some portion of your ticket is refundable you can opt for a partial refund.. I believe the default is taking the entire thing as a credit, so make sure reserve funds for future use is checked, and then click the yes, cancel button. You can also go into the travel center when you are done and click the view ticketless funds or something -- and see how much credit you have by entering your confirmation number.

It's ***really*** easy.. it sounds scary because of the money part.. but really southwest made it so easy..

Thanks Heather :Pinkbounc
Just did it was really easy, received my credit, now just have to wait until July's schedule to open up and book airfare to Phoenix. We're still going to Disney in April but on Southwest we had a stopover and change of plane's and this would be the first time flying with them and my husband was NOT at all crazy about the idea of no assigned seating plus the plane change. So I just rebooked my april trip with Spirit and thought we would do better with southwest to phoenix if I could get a non-stop each way. That way the family would be happier.
Thanks again, Lori
