Need Help !!... Banned For Four Years!!

A day of vacation anywhere beats being at work. As long as you don't let any bitterness about not being at Disney interfere, you'll enjoy yourself.

I've been to Europe (Germany/Austria) and Hawaii. The real thing trumps Disney by a wide margin.

Go to Europe and Hawaii! We slip trips in between Disney jaunts. Our last in-betweener was New Orleans, and I'm SO glad we did. We love New Orleans and our son had always wanted to visit. My DH and I had been many times before, but never with our son, so we took him and our daughter-in-law last October. We had a glorious time! Great hotel right in the French Quarter, great food, great jazz and a great time exploring the French Quarter and the Garden District. We had loads of fun River Boating down the river to the battlefield in Chalmette and strolling through the River Walk.

Sadly, because of resent events, it will be a very long time before we can ever do it again in the same way. (Just writing this makes me weepy.) Use your opportunities to see the wider world while you can. The chance might not be there tomorrow.

Organize men's golfing or fishing trip and go to WDW instead.

I feel your pain. We are going to F&W Fest next month and DH said this is his last WDW trip for AT LEAST five years Which is why I am considering a solo trip in 2007 These boards are giving me courage to do it!

......... wants to go to Europe or Hawaii or some other cheesey place instead. How can I convince her of the error of her ways?

We live in Europe and all we want to do is go to WDW for a vacation.
