Hi I have been doing some research but would really like to get some input and answers from people who have some first hand experience with the disney college programs. My name is Vince and I am a 21 yr old Junior/Senior in college and am considering applying to the disney college program. However I have many questions, so if anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it.

1) Am I too old for the college program ( 21 and will be in my last semester if i decide to apply)?

2) Can I go straight into the PI without doing the CP first?

3) How is the pay for both programs and what would you say is the percentage of being hired full-time?

4) What are the hours like and is it different and enjoyable or similar to other jobs?

5) When is the best time to apply?

6) Does Disney have an MBA payment program where you can work and earn your MBA from UCF with help of Disney?

I will most likely have many more questions but thats it for now. Thank you soo much in advance.

The wizards should be along shortly to help you, I'm sure. :) I can't help with most of the questions, but I'm 25-will be 27 when I (hopefully) do the program. There's no age limit as far as I know! :)

Good luck!

I'm sure someone could offer you more detailed responses, but very quickly I'll say:

1) Am I too old for the college program ( 21 and will be in my last semester if i decide to apply)?
No, you are not too old. As long as you are enrolled in college when you apply, then you are the right age.

2) Can I go straight into the PI without doing the CP first?
It depends on the PI. Some require a CP, some don't.

3) How is the pay for both programs and what would you say is the percentage of being hired full-time?
Pay for the CP starts at 6.79/hr. Pay for the PI varies but is typically higher. Have no idea about full-time statistics. Depends on your role--some roles have more need for full-timers than other. It also depends on your timing.

4) What are the hours like and is it different and enjoyable or similar to other jobs?
Hours could be anything... Disney operates on holidays and also has a wide range of hours that you could be working. Even if a park is open until 2am, you could be working until 4... and it's possible that you could be working later on that day at 8am or something. Once again, it depends on the role. Same with the enjoyment factor.

5) When is the best time to apply?

As soon as they start accepting applications for the next season. I think that should be fairly soon for the spring program. As for the fall, I applied around March and that seemed to be a pretty good time. As soon as possible, basically.

6) Does Disney have an MBA payment program where you can work and earn your MBA from UCF with help of Disney?
Yes
