Ok--could really use some experienced advice. Mom and I are taking my kids (ages 3 and 11 months) and my 2 neices (ages 7 and 9) to Disneyland Sept 23-27. Our current reservation is for 2 standard view rooms at the GC with the senior discount (35%). Since the 4th night free promotion just came out, we are reevaluating our reservation (and will definately be changing it--I just don't know how yet).
OPTIONS
I can book the same room with getawaytoday and save $216.00, or book with Walt Disney Travel and have TTMM access for a savings of $154.00
OR book a 2 bedroom suite at the DLH for just $11.00 more, also with Walt Disney Travel.
THOUGHTS
With a 2 bedroom suite we are guaranteed to be with one another, whereas two seperate rooms could be on different floors, down the hall, etc from eachother.
We'll certainly have more space in a two bedroom suite, right?
Is the further walk from DLH enough to make us wish we stayed at GC (with the little kids we will definately return to the room each day, and every inch will count when trying to make it to EE)?
We expect to spend time at the pool--DLH seems more interesting for the kids.
My mom is used to the good things in life. I have heard mixed reviews about the "age" of DLH and REALLY want to avoid any complaints/comments from her.
If we decide on the 2 bedroom suite in the DLH, is there a tower or floor I should request?
So, stay at GC in 2 standard rooms or move to DLH with 2 bedroom suite?
I'd really appreciate any input...
Thanks in advance.
Gianna
