Need "fluff" book rec' for long flights

Ohh, and Have you read Bitter is the New Black or others by that author (can't remember name)? Those are tear-jerking funny!!

I believe the author of "Bitter Is the New Black" is Jen Lancaster.

Oh, and there is another author..... Laurie Notaro. She is HILARIOUS! I think she is funnier than Jen Lancaster. And her stories are short and sweet too.

I was looking for some light reading for a cruise. Sound that this might fil the bill. ANy other suggestions for cruise fare reading?

If you are interested in what goes on behind the scenes on a cruise check out Cruise Confidential by Brian David Bruns. He was the only American to ever survive an entire contract as a waiter on Carnival (or something like that!). It is fairly entertaining and you will never look at crew members the same way!

Another vote for Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooters series OR her Tall Dark and Dangerous series.....gotta love those Navy Seals

Everyone's replies look great, but do yourself a favor and read the Aurora Teagarden series by Charlaine Harris (author of the Southern Vampire Mysteries - which True Blood is based off of). There is nothing supernatural in this series. I just finished all 8 (or so?) books in less than a month... DH is going to start limiting my Kindle Budget! haha

I also love Sookie Series
I am really enjoying Elin Hilderbrand books...they take place in Nantucket
I LOVE Jodi Piccoult and I feel they are an easy read but not light

Jodi's books are emotionally heavy!
