Need fast answer-baby stroller & food shopping question

When I was young, I lived in NY. Though I lived in Queens and not The City, so for some here, that doesn't count for much. We walked to the grocery store and brought our own cart. It was pretty sizable and my mother would buy at least a week's worth of groceries as there was no way in hell she was going to spend her time going back and forth to the store.

For someone to say there is no reason for anyone to ever get a cart unless you are having 50 people over is just stupid. She should try feeding a family, and then get back to us.

Almost like not being able to read.

I'm sure you've already figured it out, but... I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old. I wear my baby when I have issues like that. I use a Moby wrap.... used it with my DD, too. Best thing ever, seriously. Hands free, baby is wrapped to mom and happy, and things get done.

I just wanted to add... please do NOT put your baby in the front part of a cart unless your car seat specifically notes that it is made to do so. Please read this. http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=94954
