need exercise suggestion

i have had two c-sec 1 10 years ago and 1 8
i need to lose approx 50-60 lbs but alot of it it baby tummy

what is the best exercise to target that area??

any suggestions are welcome

I have heard many people say Pilates is great for the stomach area as it works your "core" which includes your abdominals. I wasn't crazy about it myself but I have incorporated some of the Pilates moves into the exercising I do myself along with good old crunches :rolleyes: :teeth: . I know lots of WISHers do Pilates and may be able to offer more suggestions about it.
 
I am also trying to lose my baby tummy. From everything I have read and been told, you have to concentrate on losing the actual fat before you can work on tightening those abs. My trainer told me that you can work your abs and have muscle underneath the fat. I'm starting Atkins again.....then on top of doing ab exercises I spend alot of time on the treadmill to burn calories. I have also been told that Pilates is good. I take a Yoga class once a week and sometimes she incorporates pilates into it and it is a work out on your abs. Good luck!
