Ok so I really need some advice and quick! I went dress shopping tonight for only the second time, so far I have tried on about 15 dresses. Tonight I found two I totally loved, one cost $1,000 and the other is on sale for $150. My problem is they are having a huge sale tomorrow and they can only hold the $150 dress for me until 1:00. If I don't get it by then, there is a good chance it will be gone. I don't know what to do. I LOVE the dress and it is so inexpensive and would give me some much needed $ to spend on other areas of the wedding. However I haven't tried on that many dresses. I need advice! Here is a picture of me in the $150 dress.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture in the other dress i loved (grrr!) but here is the dress on a model.

I love, love, love this one too, but they only had it in a size 14, so it was really hard to tell how it would fit when I actually got it in, and it is so much more money. I don't know what to do! I also have some pictures in my PJ of some other dresses I tried on, but I don't like any of them all that much anymore. And here are two other dresses I tried on tonight that I liked, but not as much as the other ones:

Gee, if it's only $150 and you love it, maybe you should just get it! I mean, OK, $150 is a lot of money, but relatively speaking, it is a HUGE steal for a wedding gown. Then, if you happen to find something you like better later, you're only out the $150—or maybe less if you can sell it on eBay.

The $150 dress is goregous, and you look very happy to be in it! I would say go for it!! I would have loved to have found one for that much of a steal!

I actually posted in you PJ first. :goodvibes

I vote :cheer2: for number one.

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking! My sister agrees we should just grab it while we can and go from there, but my mom did not like this idea, she only wanted me to get it if I deff. plan on wearing it.

I agree with lurkyloo...buy it, if you stick with it , great! It was a bargain. If you find something else, it was only $150 and like she said, you can sell it.

I think it looks great on you and you look very happy in it (that's always the true sign of the dress the bride should choose lol).

I say get the $150 one! You like, it, it looks amazing on you, and you'll have extra money for other things. For what it's worth, in case you don't feel that you've tried on enough dresses, I got my dress on sale for about the same price as yours, and it was only the 3rd one I tried on. Sometimes I wonder if I rushed into it, but you can't beat the price!

In the picture with the $150 dress, you look like you are beaming. In the other picture you look like you are smiling because you are supposed to smile when a camera is pointed at you. I say go tomorrow, try it on again and with a veil if you want one, if you still feel like you love it buy it and don't look back! You look gorgeous in it and it does not look like a cheap dress at all; I was kinda shocked when I saw it.

Of course if you do look back and regret buying one without trying on more, as many brides do even after trying on plenty and spending $$$$, you could use it as a reception dress or sell it on ebay. I think it is far more likely you would regret not buying it.

I say buy it! It's a HUGE steal, and if something comes along that you like even more then you'd only be out the $150 which is nothing for a dress. You could probably sell it on eBay for more. Lol

Go with the cheaper dress and stick with it...and like you said it would free up some much needed extra cash...more money party:

IF you jad mot told me which one was the $150 dress, I wuold have never known. It looks GREAT on you and you look very happy in it. iI would go for it! Use the extra money towards something else for the wedding. Go back and try it on again with veil and jewelry----it is a lovely dress!! I would go for it!!! Congrats!! :lovestruc

Another one who says go for the $150.00 dress here!! It looks beautiful on you!!

you look very happy and comfortable in that dress. I say go for it!

I would never guess that the dress you are wearing in the first picture was only $150.....It looks amazing! I hope you got it. I wish I had found a dress for that little money that looked that great.
Spend the extra money on adding something great to your wedding. :bride:

ok.. long time disneyland wedding lurker here! hi! :)
i really, really like the first one you posted! i just love that train

Ah yes, Maggie Sottero dresses. The downfall of many a bride's budget! :lmao::lmao:

Go the cheaper one, it's beautiful and even if you regret it in the long run (which I highly doubt) you can always start again.

Wanted to say thank you for all the feedback on this thread, it really, really helped me make my decision. Just wanted to come on and update... I got the dress!!!:cheer2: The plan was for my sister to call in the morning and see if she could get me and appointment around 2:30 (since I had to work all morning) to try and on two dresses one more time and decide. I woke up in the morning, and went to work, and the more I thought about it, the more I felt like I should just get the cheaper dress... I was afraid it was going to be gone. So I called my mom and she went and picked it up at 10am right when the store opened lol. When I got out of work I went to her house and we looked over the whole dress... couldn't find anything wrong with it at all, and we looked at the tags and realized it was a Da Vinci dress! I cannot believe I got it for so cheap! When I tried it on again at my moms I loved it even more! And the best part is, it fits perfect! Other than getting it busled and possibly hemmed a little (I'm hoping I can just find some really high heels that I can walk in instead!), I don't think I will even need any other alterations! Here are a few pic's of me trying it on at my parents house:

It looks amazing and it's such a great price. Do you know what it retailed for originally?
