Need directions from airport to a Walmart and then to Wilderness Lodge

Hi, We are going next week! Getting worried I don't have everything planned. Need easy directions from airport..(where is Budget inside the airport and where you pick up your car?) to closest Walmart or something like it and then to Wilderness Lodge.

Do you have to take a bus to budget or is it within walking distance?

Budget is on-site at the airport. We did exactly what you are planning, except we went to Target instead.

It was about a 5-10 minute drive from the airport to the Target. The fellow at the Budget counter drew it out for us on the map. I know there is a Wal-mart just down the road from the Target we went to beside the Florida Mall. I think the Wal-mart is closer to Sand Lake Road and Orange Blossom Trail intersection, but Orlando-ites can tell you better.

After the Target stop, we got back on the highway, heading towards 417 north. It is a toll road, but an easy drive. I think it will cost you $2 or 3. This takes you directly to WDW. The signage is very good. You have to head directly to the Magic Kingdom entrance to get to WL. Tell them you have a reservation and they'll waive you right through. Stay to the far right, follow the road a bit and turn right into the road to WL. It took us no longer than 40 minutes from the airport (and I am a pokey driver).

There is a Super Target and an Albertsons right off 417 headed towards WDW.

You can get directions on the Target web site. Very easy to get off and on 417.
