Hi Everyone! I am going to Disney in late sept to early oct and we are taking advantage of the free dining. But i need some help coming up with a dining plan. This is what i have so far:

************EDITED**************

What about?

(TS1) Breakfast: Crystal Palace (8:05 ressies)
(TS2) Dinner: Ohana
(TS3) Breakfast: Akershus w/princesses
(TS4) Lunch:Sci Fi Dine-In
(TS5) Dinner: Boma
(OOP) Dinner: T-Rex
(TS 6 & 7) Dinner: California Grill, it's our last night and we can watch the fireworks from the restaurant, thought it'd be a nice last hoorah.

Do you want another character meal? If so, I would suggest Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom with an 8:05 a.m. ADR (the first one available). This gets you into the MK before the general public and gives you a great opportunity for pictures of the castle with hardly anyone around. If you don't want to do a breakfast, I suggest the Plaza Restaurant at the MK. It is just salads and sandwiches (with great shakes and desserts) and is a nice change of pace from all the heavier meals you are eating on the dining plan. If you don't like that idea and want to take a break from the MK, hop the monorail to the Contemporary and try their new restaurant--The Wave. It has been getting rave reviews.

What about adding Crystal Palace on your MK Sunday. If it is not an AM EMH MK day you could try for an early ADR to get in the park before opening. Lunch is good too for a cool break in the hot FL afternoon.

Tony's Town Square and LTT are alos MK options.

You could try O'Hana's for Breakfast too. It is Character, but TS.

1900 Park Fare at the GF has a character buffet breakfast. Dinner buffet is Cindy, Charming and the Stepmother & sisters. The interaction was fabulous and the stepmother and sisters were hillarious!

There is always Chef Mickey's too!

All the above are 1 TS credit.

Thanks! I'm thinking of swapping Akershus for 1900 park fare for breakfast. My dd has met the princesses at akershus but has never met mary poppins or alice. WDYT? We did 1900 park fare dinner last trip and it was great...LOVED the step sisters.

I kind of wanted to limit it to 2 character meals for the week. We practically did ALL Character meals last time around and it was too much.

Let me research the wave.

Personally we would do the PSB again because DD is into the princesses and really doesn't care about Alice or Mary Poppins. I haven't heard/read bad reviews about 1900 PF breakfasts though.

What about a country at Epcot? or Coral Reef? Even being from the Bahamas our kids liked eating while watching the fish. Reviews can be mixed, but we had a fabulous meal there.

I am not very familiar with resturants in DTD, but isn't there Fuler's Crab House (name?)?

What about something at the Boardwalk?

The Wave is good.

We also enjoyed 1900 Park Fare (breakfast and dinner).

I like the character meals, my niece would get autographs and we didn't have to wait in lines for them.
