I have two cousins who are staying at BW (the hotel, not DVC) after Easter. They have done so much for my family over the past year, that I wanted to do something that would WOW them while they were staying down there. Of course, I won't be with them, so I will have to arrange the surprise from afar.

They have three "tweeners" and have been to Disney many times, so I am at a loss for ideas. Does anyone know of something I could arrange for them as a surprise that wouldn't cost a fortune?

The Boardwalk Inn offers a wonderful hospitality menu of items for in room delievery. Things like tuxedo chocolate strawberries, a Pluto's biscuit tray with dog bone shapped cookies & milk etc etc etc. You can call the Inn and asked to be connected to private dining and then the person who handles such things. Prices are generally sub $100. Just a thought, HTH

How about the carriage ride for 4? It is only $30 bucks. If the teens think its hokey...maybe they can let mom and dad have a little romance by themselves.

It would be a LOT more expensive , but the teens would LOVE the SEdway (those space age scooter thingie) tours.. Even if you just got them for the adults, the kids would think it was 'way cool'.

How nice of you to want to thank them for their helping hand and 'pay it forward'.!

Don't you have to be sixteen to ride those Segways?

This might take some effort but ... surprise them with a 1 bedroom at BWV. Somehow you could get them to pay you instead of Disney what they were going to pay for the BW Inn, and you just rent points for them and pay the difference or use your own points for the ressies. I bet they'd be wowed by the 1-bedroom if all they were expecting was a standard hotel room.

I think I saw on one of the other boards that Feralpeg is making those goodie baskets again. Maybe you could order one of those from her.

Well, they couldn't all stay in the 1BR at BWV. With three kids over age 3, they would have to have a 2BR.

call the local cookies bouquet in orlando...........they make a special Disney Character 7 cookie basket that is awesome and it is less than 50 bucks...........we have done it 4 times for special guests

Are the cookies good, or are they just cute?

I've had these cookies before and yes, they are very good!! And, they are huge!! One cookie would probably feed two. The frosting on the cookie, is yummy also!!

I just ordered a basket from Feralpeg and she is making it bigger and putting something in it for each of my kids along with candy. Her e-mail address is
PKellogg1@cfl.rr.com. She was awesome and I was able to pay her through Paypal. It will delivered to our Villa and be waiting for our kids when we get there. I am so excited! The price for a big basket with something for each of the kids was only $90.

To find Feralpig, go to search at the top of this page, click on "advanced search"....then, go to "search by user name" and it will show all of Feralpig's posts. Click on her name when you have any of her posts pull up, and you can pm her directly.

When we were there in Dec., some friends wanted to thank us. I got a call from the front desk who told me that a $200 credit had been placed on my room key, and that it needed to be used before we checked out in order not to lose it....that was SOOOO nice!!! I got to go shopping!!!

as well. They have standard flower arrangements and under "Our Unique Designs" they have Disney arrangements. You can send them a tote bag filled with goodies for thier trip and have some balloons attatched to it. All you have to do is give them their name and what resort they are staying at and a runner will leave it in thier room. How great is it to come back to your room and have a surprise like that waiting for you? It's never happened to me, but I've done it for someone else (so if you want to send me something, send it to Jennifer LaBossiere staying at BCV in June - :rolleyes1 )

good point...sorry for the incorrect info. A 2BR might get a bit expensive.

I can't seem to find any online listing for them. Is the actual name "cookies bouquet," "cookie bouquet," or something else? Thanks.

If you want to go "all out", you could book them an Illuminations cruise on the Breathless. You could also book one of the regular boats for less.
