Nine people are doing a grand gathering package. Two of them want to add park hopping to their ticket.

Is it true that they can go to guest services once they get there and add it to just their tickets?

Anyone ever do this?:confused3

Any ticket booth or Guest Relations.
And at the Concierge desk at any WDW resort.
Can be done at any time for the same price.

I've upgraded our tickets several times. I just happened to be in Epcot once and at the Magic Kingdom the other. I went to Guest Relations at Epcot and to City Hall at the Magic Kingdom. I had my tickets upgraded in no time at all.

I believe you can also do this at your resort Concierge desk.

Somebody may chime in here and tell you that, if you are on a Magic Your Way Package, everybody has to have the same plan but I'm not sure.

Only on the original "basics."

After the tickets are in use, they can each be upgraded separately.

That's exactly what I needed to know. Only 2 out of 9 people want the park hoppers.:thumbsup2

Thanks for all the responses.

So, does that mean if I have 4 day base tix, and use 2 days, on day 3 I can add the hoppers to the remaining 2 days?:confused3

So, If I am understanding this correctly, it is not just a per day rate to each ticket added, it is an amount that would cover all of the days? So it makes more sense for me to add it in the beginning then anyway? What is the dollar amount attached to it, or does it change based on the number of days? The WDW website is difficult to follow, and I just don't trust CRO for the correct answers anymore.

Hopper fee does not change with the number of days on the ORIGINAL ticket.
It does not change with the number of days LEFT on the ticket.
It does not matter WHEN you purchase it, before or during your visit.

It is a one-time, one-price fee of just under $48 (including tax) per ticket.

If you are not sure if you NEED the Hopping option, wait until you actually DO before you buy it.
That way, you won't be spending about $50 per ticket, unnecessarily.

It should take approx. 60-180 seconds at any ticket booth, Guest Relations office, or WDW resort Concierge desk to buy the upgrade.

Have a magical trip!

:thumbsup2

The total cost that upgrade will cost you is for the total pass, not just the unused days. A four day base ticket is 207.46, a 4 day park hopper is 246.88, so the upgrade is 39.42 whether done on day one, or day 4.

Sorry, some of those numbers are not correct.
Hopper upgrade costs $45 per ticket, before taxes.

BEFORE TAX-
A four day (10yrs +) base ticket: $212
A four day (10yrs +) Hopper ticket: $257
