Need clarification on 10day ticket and FP+

We want to go for 3 weekends of Star Wars Weekends. We have 10 day passes (a Christmas gift). I believe that they expire 14 days after we use them right?

We will use them on May 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24....my question is can we use them on the 29th? Not sure how they count 14 days....May 29 minus May 15 is 14....but in counting days it's actually the 15th calendar day.

We want to see the special Star Wars shows so I'd really like to go on the 29th as well to get in just a little more!

Oh and another question....I know the APs only get 7 days of FP.....can I wait until we have used all 10 days on the passes to upgrade to an AP so we get all 10 days of FP instead of just 7? Or do you have to do the upgrade the first day?

If you start using your MYW tickets on May 15th, then May 28th is your 14th day of availability for use. You can upgrade to AP on any day that your MYW tickets are active, but not after the Day 10 ticket is used and and your park is closed for the night. I don't have an AP but I thought it didn't change your FP+ choices if you upgraded during your trip. Someone else will have to chime in if that's not correct.

Your AP will be dated to the first day you use your MYW tickets (May 15th) and will expire on the same date, one year later. I don't think there's any reason to wait to upgrade after using your MYW tickets at least once to enter a theme park. By upgrading to AP sooner rather than later, you'll have discounts and other advantages available to you during your trip.

Thanks. I'm not concerned about the AP discounts on this trip and want the 10 days of FP vs the 7 days of the AP. Not sure what the "other advantages" you're speaking of for the AP?

I believe that the first day the ticket gets used counts as Day 1......so in your case your 14th day would be the 28th as the OP stated

Unlimited park hopping, room discounts, Tables in Wonderland restaurant discounts (20% including alcohol), and merchandise discounts.

If you wait to upgrade, your FP+ days won't be affected at all by upgrading to an AP.

An easy way to remember: if you use your tickets for the first time on a Friday, the last time you can use them will be on Thursday so May 15-May 28.
