I bought these spinich and feta phyllo dough appetizers from Sams and I would like a dipping sauce for them. I thought of sweet and sour sauce but not really my thing. Any ideas??

how about a classic ranch, there is also ranch variations that would be good. I also like a dip of sour cream and dry veggie soup....

To me, spinach and feta cheese says greek salad so I'd go with a salad dressing dip - ranch, blue cheese, vinaigrette, caesar, etc.

I bought similar ones from Costco, and honestly, they don't need dipping! They're yummie all on their own. (Think of all the calories you'll save without sauce - those buggers are NOT low-cal!)

The only thing I could think of that might be appropriate would be pesto, maybe.

i wouldn't use a sauce either but if i did, i'd use tatziki sauce (yogurt with cucumber/tomatoes in it--or you can use sour cream, too)...i'm sure there are recipes online.

I've been Greek all my life :rotfl2: and have never had nor have I heard of a dipping sauce for Spanikopita.

Step away from the dipping sauce. :rotfl2:

Cindy's Mom I agree. Full blooded Greek here you don't need a dipping sauce for Spanikopita

Another vote for no dipping sauce - too many competing flavors, and it would compromise the delicate, flaky phyllo.
