We are hosting a brunch for 10 people and I really would love to try out some new recipes. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Every year for Christmas I make the Breakfast Lasagna from the Crystal Palace! I got the recipe from Allears, I'm sure it's on the Dis too!
I also make a egg casserole, with either bacon or sausage, potatoes and cheese. I usually only make those two. But my family loves it. I've also made the French Toast Loaf from the Main St Bakery in the past and that got rave reviews!

I make a breakfast casserole the night before and pop it in the oven - hash browns, sausage, eggs and cheese (but not as much cheese as the recipe says, just enough to cover the top)

This is a recipe for quiche I make every year for New Years day. You might want to make two for ten people. You can substitute ham for the sausage, or make it all veggie.

12 oz. sausage
1 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms
1/4 c. green peppers
1/4 c. sweet red peppers
1/4 c. onion
3 oz. cream cheese
4 eggs
1/3 c. half and half
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Montarey Jack cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Dash nutmeg
1 baked 9" pie crust

In a skillet, cook sausage over medium high heat for 3 minutes, breaking into small pieces. Add vegetables and cook 5 more minutes or until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Drain well and set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the eggs and cream. Stir in sausage mixture, cheeses and spices. Pour into the pastry pie shell. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees 40 - 45 minutes, or until a knife in the center comes out clean. If necessary, cover the edges with foil to prevent overbrowning. Let stand ten minutes before serving.

I serve this with a fruit salad of equal parts strawberries, blackberries and pineapple mixed together. I know, an odd mix. But it works.
