Need breakfast suggestions for short December trip between 12/13 and 12/16. We are staying at the Yacht Club Resort.

Friday - spending the morning at MK (want to be able to sleep in if tired, so don't want to make PS). Where could we eat a decent breakfast around our hotel or in MK? Is it possible to do a walk-in at Tony's?

Saturday - eating at Donald's Breakfastaurus before going to AK

Sunday - going to MGM - want to eat around hotel or at MGM

Monday - Epcot - want to eat around hotel or at Epcot

Yacht Club galley has a fine breakfast-and it's right in your hotel.
Spoodles is pretty good too, and it's just a walk around to the Boardwalk area.
Not sure about a walk-in at Tony's now that it's hosting that character affair. On our MK day, we do breakfast at Kona at the Poly.

I'm sure we will eat one breakfast at the Yacht Club Gallery - had a wonderful fruit platter there last year! Tell me about the food and atmosphere at Kona Cafe. Do you need a PS there or do they take walk-ins?

I just did a review of Kona (and 5 other breakfast spots). If you search my Posts, I'm sure you can find it easily. We've always eaten breakfast at Kona w/o PS--we eat anywhere from 8:00 AM thru 9:00 AM. It's always crowded, but never any real wait.
It's a nice breakfast spot--we do it on our MK day.

Another option is the Boardwalk Bakery. You can take a nice walk around to the Boardwalk (or take the boat across the lagoon) and have a cup of coffee with your pastry while you're waiting for the boat to MGM. :)

On our MK day, we usually go to the park for an hour or so, then when the crowds start filling in, we take the monorail to Kona. They have one of the best breakfasts on site! And the coffee is the best! We make PS for around 9:30-10:00 or so.

The Grand Floridian is exceptionally convenient to the MK.

If you want, you can do a character meal at 1900 Park Faire -- an excellent choice and a great way to get in the mood for a jolly stroll up Main Street :D

Or, if you prefer something without characters, but with some CHARACTER, there's the GF Cafe, which has superb and satisfying plated breakfasts.

After that, just waddle over the monorail and head for the happiest place on earth!

Bon appetite!

Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary has a great breakfast. Then you can walk to the MK in under ten minutes.
