Okay Wagoneers, I need help.
I've got all these photos that friends and family send in their Christmas cards (from 2007 and previous years as well). I never want to throw them away, but I don't know how to handle them.
I've seen layout ideas where they've made a layout of the year's Christmas photos.
Recently, I read an idea where someone made a small book with each family's Christmas photo on it's own page with the family's name. The book goes from year to year and is put out each Christmas to look back on.
Here's where I need help. I like that book idea, so while we were out today, I stopped by Big Lots, my weakness. They usually have good deals on scrapbooks. I was thinking of a 6x6 or 8x8 red or green book. When I got in there they had a cute 8x8 snowflake book for $4 (not my original plan, but very cute). Then they had some paper kits for $5. There was a winter-ish one that could work well with the snowflake book.
I left them both and avoided the rest of the scrap aisle. There was a feeling of guilt if I would've spent during the BAN, but there was also a feeling that I will regret having not purchased them since I'd like to do a book, and those items would've made a cute one. Do I already have enough to keep me busy? Do I need another project even though that one sounds simple enough.
Am I overthinking the BAN? I need some objective thoughts. Any advice? Therapy? Thanks.
