Need bag help. Bought Overland Donner, but...

I like it, but...

I was hoping for something a tad smaller/more purse like that I could also organize my money/credit cards in. Anyone out there have any other recommendations? I also love that I can carry a water bottle in the Donner, so that would be nice. Help! I'm leaving in 19 days and I'd need it kind of fast. Thanks!

I have a Donner bag as well. It really is great to carry in the parks. It helps keep you organized and you can carry two bottles of liquid or an umbrella. You really might be glad you have it once you are in the parks!

Overland does have smaller bags if you are interested though.

I have the Overland Equipment Placer and I love it. It's smaller, but has lots of nice compartments to hold everything, including a padded sunglass area. It does not, however, have a water bottle holder.

And here's what I did: I bought a small thin wallet just to hold my driver's license and 1 credit card, and left everything else at home. (Actually, I forgot to take my checkbook out before I left home--but I just locked it in the room safe at POP.) The wallet was small enough that there was still lots of room for other stuff if I wanted. The cash I had I kept in the zippered pocket in the back of the main portion of the bag. I kept my park pass in the zippered part in the front flap of the pack.

I just recd the placer and I love it. It is small enough for my wallet, money, credit cards and a ponch without weighing you down. I ordered mine for 20 dollars from shoe buy. I only wished I ordered it in lime green. I got black I also ordered the donner and really really like it. I was getting ready to send back the baggallini but my son asked for it.

Shoebuy only has the pacer in sand and black, but amazon has all colors.
