Need any advice...trip plans

This was supposed to be just one day before our Disney cruise in a Studio and it has turned into three nights in a one bedroom at AKV in Jambo house. My first question is if I should waitlist for Kidani?

We are thinking of doing at least the regular dining plan...maybe deluxe. This will be December 16th thru 19th. Will holiday dining prices be happening at this time? This is one reason why we think that the dining plan makes sense...as DVC we only pay the regular price.

Here are our plans if we do the deluxe....any opinions are appreciated.

Arrive Thursday night and eat at Jiko...if too tired to go to restaurant then we will order room service-----2 credits

Friday
10:15 1900 Park Fare---1 credit
enter park for Merry Christmas Party at 4 pm
6:10 Crystal Palace---1 credit

Saturday
10:15 Chef Mickey's---1 credit
Go back to AKV and possibly play in pool and explore to see animals
2:30 Sanaa for lunch---1 credit
Head to downtown disney to hang out
7:15 Hoop Dee Doo 3 tier seating--2 credit

Sunday
Check out of AKV
9 am breakfast at 'Ohana--1 credit

We own at SSR and are excited to stay at AKV this time. Any suggestions or tips that you have to share are appreciated!!

I would wait list Kidani as it is larger, and I'd recommend doing Epcot instead of AK on Saturday. Epcot's Holidays around the World and CP / Christmas Illuminations are our favorite thing at WDW. You can do the CP package for the credits of HDDR. Also, check your dates because if the 18 th is the last MVMCP, you could save a couple hundred bucks by doing Epcot on the 18th and MK on the 19th - as all of the MVMCP entertainment, including snow, parade, and Christmas wishes are shown in the MK at that point.
