I just made my ps for Ohana and now I want to know what anyone who has went there thought of it.
It is the only sit down meal I will be having inside WDW and I want to make sure it is a good one.

Any thoughts and critques are greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
:p

We ate dinner at 'Ohana in June and we loved it!! The food was very good but they brought too much. DD10 really enjoyed the coconut race and the hula hoop contest(everybody wins). It was a lot of fun!!

Last December we had dinner at Ohana's thinking we could get a water view to see the water pagent--no luck, it didn't happen. We did get the table by the water, just no parade. The food was plentiful, but a bit cool by the time it reaches your table. (Servers bring it on skewers directly from the grill.) I'm sure we could've asked for hotter meats, but it tasted alright. The appetizers were great--shrimp & vegie wontons, chicken wings, and stir-fried vegies I remember as being very good. The meat comes on skewers--the turkey was a bit dry, pork and shrimp were excellent and the steak was mediocre. The fruit dipping sauce was very good--we liked dipping the stir-fried vegies in it. Save room for the pineapple (it comes w/the meal). The kids like the entertainment (rolling coconuts, etc.), at least I think they enjoy it. We liked this meal, but probably would pass on it again. We like the all you can eat BBQ at Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL better, but that's our taste. We also like the entertainment for the children better at WCC--they involved the whole restaurant.

I love 'Ohana. The food is mostly great with the skewers varying a bit depending on the cook. In general it has almost always been wonderful. I had some mealy shrimp on our first visit in 1996. They also served sausages back then instead of pork. The items occaisionally change on the menu but it all remains grea and the atmosphere is wonderful.

We love 'Ohana and can't wait to go back in November. It was just the two of us last visit, and we had a nice window table away from the "kid action," which was just right for us.

All the food was great, but this time I will skip lunch so I can do it justice!

We went last week. Make sure and request a table in the main dining room. We were right by the aisle where they did the coconut races, hula hoop contest, and hula lessons. Our two daughters loved it! If you do not have kids, then I agree with barbemi and get a table further away from the action.

The food was great, the girls loved it as well and they did not eat hamburgers, chicken tenders and fries like so many places served.

It was one of our best meals!

I am so glad to hear such great reviews of Ohanas! We're trying it for the first time in October; can't wait! I know my little girl will love the coconut races and hoola hooping!!
