Hi,

I thought I would get your opinions as to which of these packages to do for Spring Break. I booked H&V but am now thinking I should have taken Mama's. Do they have more on the menu to offer than what's listed on Deb Wills site?

Thanks for your help,
Lisa

We did Mama Melrose's last summer. You do get the salad and choice of flatbread to share, and then I think we ordered our entree off the menu. So yes, there were more entree choices then the three or so you may have seen in the description of the Fantasmic package. The dessert was tiramisu.

We did the Fantasmic Dinner Package at H&V in December 2003.

We really enjoyed the food at H&V so much so that we tried hard to book another meal there but the place was booked up for the whole of our holiday.

The buffet had an enourmous choice both for adults and kids. there was a large range of seafood, meats and vegetarian dishes plus loads of hot and cold desserts. My husband still talks about the marinated roast turkey breast as being the best turkey he has ever had.

Would definately recommend H&V for the dinner package.

We like Hollywood and Vine for our family of 5. Its the cheaper of the 2. I tried to book the pkg. at either h and v or mama melrose anytime from 4-6-4-13 and they told me nothing was available. I took h and v for dinner but its not the pkg. Also make sure your dining time is not when the stars and cars parade is. That has happened to us before. If you are cancelling, let us know.
