Need Advice!

I am moving, along with my sister and DD, to Orlando on May 31st. We will be flying down on that day along with a friend and 2 of her children. Her husband will be driving a truck down from Kansas City with our household goods (poor guy). I want to book a room at Disney for myself, my sister and DD for May 31st and June 1st. I want to book a room for my friend, her husband and 2 children for May 31st to June 7.

I have an annual pass, but it expires on May 31st. Do you think I could book the rooms with an annual pass discount? I really don't want to renew it because I will soon be eligible for a Florida resident rate. Suggestions?

I haven't a clue, but you could always call Disney & ask them.

A big move, that's exciting! Can I ask what you'll be doing down there? I've often wondered if I'd like living there or if it would take away some of the magic? I'd love to work at WDW. That would be really neat watching all the awe and happiness on everyone's faces on an everyday basis. Maybe after I retire from teaching in like 20 years, I could consider working for Disney for part of the year.

Thanks for responding! I called and they said that I could use it as long as it was still in effect the day of checkin. I also had a postcard. It turned out that the postcard and the AP discount were the same amout, so I'm using the postcard.

Naisy68, I retired at the end of last year. To begin with, I'm not going to be working. I want to get to know the area and just relax a bit. After awhile, I may do something part time.
