Need advice with POR and AKL

We are doing a week at WDW in April of 2008. We will probably due the first 3 nights at POR and the last two at AKL. I'm looking for advice on which buildings/area I should request. We will probably prefer the Mansion half of POR (king bed room) since we will be getting our rustic kick at AKL. Any particular building I should recommend? Also, should I be talked in to Alligator Bayou instead?

Also, I heard that the Savannah rooms at AKL are divided into two halves (Sunrise & Sunset). What is the difference between the two and which do people prefer?
