need advice, which is better package or......

I currently have ressies at Holiday Inn Universal for week after christmas, at $74.00 night/Entertainment Card Rate, (4 nights)
We were planning to buy our tickets to Universal online, and pay for transfers when we arrive at the airport.....however,
I recently got a package rate with Universal vacations, that includes hotel/ Fairfield Inn, universal bonus pass, R/T transfers, for 2 adults at $603.00 total....With Amerisuites it would be $590.00 total.....

Figuring in the cost of breakfast each morning, (we definitely enjoy breakfast in the morning), with both Fairfield and Amerisuites offering both, I am thinking it might be a better deal to book the package.. We also plan to see one of the Murder Mystery shows while we are there (Its actually a christmas gift to my husband,he doesn't know it yet ).....

Do you think its possible to visit Epcot for one day, and if so, would it better to buy the bonus pass or the 3 day park pass to universal, or save Epcot for another time???

Would you take the package, or just purchase everything separately?? We already have our airline tickets....

sorry that i'm not able to answer your question, but i wanted to mention the only piece of info i know about universal: if you stay in one of their resorts, you get a front of the line pass and don't have to wait to go on any attractions. i've heard people say this is wonderful.
