hi everyone. i am trying to get dbf to go to wdw in june b/c he has never been. (he agreed to go the other day but i think he just wanted me to shut up at the time) my parents are dvc members and my father has said that i could use points. if we go, it will be for 4 nights. i am an ap holder as well. would it be worth using the points for a studio if i can still get one or should i try to get an ap rate at wl or akl or maybe even a moderate? is a studio worth using my parents points? i have only stayed in a 1 and 2 bedroom at okw, fw, cbr, and por. i've never stayed in a studio nor have i stayed at wl or akl. help!
thanks,
jessica

For two people a studio is just fine - about the same size as a regular hotel room but with a mini fridge and micro plus a small couch instead of two beds (unless you choose OKW which has two beds).

If the nights you'll be there are weeknights, I think it's absolutely worth it. It's an awesome deal. The room is like a hotel room, but also with a kitchenette, and the resorts are wonderful. On the weekends, it's not so clear cut since it costs a lot more points for the room, and you'd have to look at that versus the AP rate. But I still think that points are the way to go - of course, I just bought DVC, so obviously that would be my opinion ;) .
