We are going to WDW 12/3 to 12/11. It is me, dh, our two DD's (ages 3 and 8), my parents, and my brother. My parents have purchased the Richard Petty driving experience for my dad, DH and DB to do. My DH and DB do not know they will be doing this as it is their Christmas present, so they won't find out until they get there. This is scheduled for 12/6 (Monday)

The three of them want to golf one day while we are down there and are planning on going later in the afternoon to save money on green fees. These are the two options of times I have come up with, I would really like any advice on if you think this is going to work.

Plan A: Do RP Driving Experience on Monday and then golf in the afternoon following it. The problem with this is that we have a 6:20 PS for 1900 PF. I could probably get this changed or we could go without the guys. Also, this is the only night of our trip I believe they will be showing Spectromagic at MK. And I know they won't want to use a PH to just see the parade.

Plan B: Do RP Driving Experience on Monday, then hook back up with everyone together. The on Wedesday (12/8) we have a PS at CRT at 8:10. Do MK after this and then the guys leave at like 1 or so to go golfing for the afternoon.

What I want to know is Plan A (assuming I change the PS) even doable? If we do Plan B, will the guys have enough time to do everything they want in MK? Which do you think is the best option.

We do have a rental car, so transportation isn't a problem. And no matter what day they go, my mom and the girls will be spending time in a park or at DTD...whatever the girls want to do. We are also doing MVMCP on 12/3, so that will be extra time in MK too.

Sorry this got so long. And thanks for the advice!

Your plan would be heaven on earth to DH. I'd go for plan B, and this is why: although I think you'd have time to go golfing that same afternoon (when DH did the RPE, he was done by 11:00), depending on your reaction to RPE, you may not be in any condition to golf! When DH did RPE, he ran around like a giddy kid all afternoon, repeatedly telling me what a great time he had. And I'd hate to see our cell phone bill-he called all his friends that day to tell them about it. And this is from a man who's normally extremely calm and unflapable. Normally he's a very good golfer, but I'm not sure he could have hit the golf ball that afternoon.

Simba's Mom~

Thanks for the advice! I didn't even take a minute to think about his reaction to the RP experience. And he wants to do it so bad...I almost wish it was the Christmas present I was giving him!

Thanks again!
