Need advice please!

Decisions decisions...just got a pin for 20% off in august.......temptation!!!!!! Perhaps a quicky trip to hold us off til next August? Or save it and go deluxe next trip. What would you do?

If your heart is really set on a deluxe stay then I would wait. But...if you book this August and buy Annual Passes, at least that part is paid for next years trip too.

I would go for a quick trip!! I personally do not have to stay at deluxe to have a magical time or enjoy the resort. I can do moderate and have a grand time!! August 2013 is too far away!

Not sure when you are going or where you are planning on staying but I think there is a August discount code on the Disney site for 25% off. We have booked the 30% for Sept. It's under special offers.

The only pins we have ever got for "room only" discounts have not been as good as those on the website for some reason.

Oh I so wish I could spend longer next year but I can only go after the 23rd and we're driving down so I need to allow for driving time, as it is the kiddos are going to miss the first 3 days of school. Gonna be one heck of a marathon drive for me, but I'm hoping to make it most of the way there the first day

I'm kinda leaning towards doing a quick 4 day trip with my son. Seems like I hardly see him anymore so maybe I can get some quality mom/son time. Just wish I had thought about this yesterday when JetBlue flights were $200 round trip!

As for the deluxe thing, I feel the same way as most of you, DD just wanted to stay at a monorail resort. We loved CBR though so this just may work

So I compared prices and you were right, the special offer was better than the pin! Gonna go ahead and do it...August 26-30 at Pop, just me and my son Can't wait til morning to book...gonna see how long I can hold off from telling my him. Gonna try and hold out til the night before, DD thinks I won't last a week

DS going thru a rough time health wise AND he's starting high school so I hope this will be a good way to celebrate and lift his spirits!

Yeah been reading that. DS tends to wilt a bit in the heat so we'll be taking our time and drinking lots of water. Thank goodness he doesn't care for soda lol.

I thought about that but I'm trying to be sneaky and squeeze out ideas about what he'd like to do by talking about our family trip in 2013

So our flight is at 8am, means we need to be out of the house by 6am. Unfortunately he's getting used to getting up and out early for appointments at Children's Hospital. I figure I'll just tell him he has a check up and instead we'll be heading to the airport. I'm hoping that he doesn't really notice that its Sunday and he never has appts. on Sunday


That is if I can keep it a secret that long...I'm so excited for the time with him.
