Need advice on time to drive to WDW

Hi!!!!!!!! We are going to WDW from Sept 27 - Oct 2. We are from Venezuela, so we are flying to the USA on Sept 26th (monday). My DH and I are taking our DS (2 when we travel). Flight leaves at 07:00 hrs and gets to Miami International Airport at aroun 11 a.m. (There are no flights directly to Orlando). We will rent a car and drive from MIA to Orlando. Our son is very active, and after sitting in the airport and plane for 4 hours it will be very difficult for us to drive straight to Orlando after the flight. Any suggestions??? I would like to be in WDW early on the 27th.

Have you considered flying from Miami to Orlando? Its a 4-5 hour drive from Miami to Orlando - you could probably fly for less than $200 per person; if you fly you may not need your rental car - so the costs could almost off set each other.
