we have resv. @ Embassy suites LBV in June. We're looking for a really nice suite hotel to just relax at - does this fit the bill (we need a suite - kid & grandparents)? What is it's overall "condition"? Would the Doubletree be a better choice?

check out the brand new residence Inn LBV. They were offering a rate of $89 for a 1 BR exeption suite (2 Q in BR and pullout in LR) with a full kitchen. They have free breakfast.

they were supposed to open this May. The national reservations person said to try the hotel direct line (which I have not done yet), because they were offering a grand opening special. They also have a 2BR family suite. I can't remeber the price on that but it was a good deal. We only needed night so I went for the 1BR unit.

ES at Lake Buena Vista is great, high $$ but very nice....If you can afford it go for it......Other suites in the area are all very nice, and less $$ but ES is 1st class....ted

ES- Lake Buena Vista is an excellent choice. I stayed there with my parents, dd and ds. They have interior corridors that look into the atrium. They have a made to order breakfast which was delicious. There is a game room, pool, gift shop and a nice atmosphere.Enjoy your stay.

We stay at the Embassy on sandlake road every time we go to Universal. Less than 5 minutes to the park. Excellent breakfast, great rooms. 89.00 a night last time. We went about 12 times this year.
