Need advice on size of clothes at Disney Store

Bought some stuff (on sale!) for DD at DS today, but not sure I got the right size. She is 5 months wearing 6 months clothes at 14.4 lbs and very tall. We will hopefully be going to WDW in Oct, when she's 13 months, so I bought the smallest size they had, 2/3. I was hoping she'd be able to wear that size for this trip, and also get use out of the stuff the following summer, when she'll be 21 months. I tried a dress on her, and it seemed a little roomy in the arms and the waist area. I got princess t-dresses with matching jackets, t shirts, and t shirts with skorts. Should I have gone with a 4/5? Thanks in advance!

size 4/5 would be way to large for an average sized 21 month old. Usually when you buy a size 4/5 it would run closer to a size 4. I have found that the Disney Store's run closer to the larger of the sizes. My daughter can still wear a size 7/8 in the Disney Store things but others are more an 8 & 10!!!!

I have found that PJ's from the Dis store run very small, my 4 year old was wearing 6x's & my 6 year old was wearing 9/10.

I've always thought the sizes ran small. Then you get a huge jump between the 6X to the next size. The pjs are VERY small. My 7 year old is in the 8-10 barely.

on the small side. She is 10 & weights about 65 lbs???? some of the 7/8's are short on her (pants) but other than that.....shirts, shorts etc....things fit her. I do buy the sweat shirts bigs since living here in FL, she doesn't get much use of them......
