Need advice on one night Nick stay, worth it?

I was thinking of a one night stay, arriving at night but not too late. We would do "activities" (whatever they are) that night at the hotel, hit the pool area after breakfast and leave for Disney property not long after lunch. Now I'm starting to wonder if it is worth it, especially if we can't do things that first night b/c they require signing up ahead of time. If most of the poolside fun is in the afternoon, we would miss that. Is there any sort of activity schedule with times I could look at? Any advice for those who have stayed recently? Thanks.

We just returned and I would say, based on your schedule, no. They do give you a daily script when you check in that gives you all the times. When we were there (checking in Thursday evening and leaving early afternoon on Saturday), the poolside shows did not start until at least 11:30 a.m. They run on a schedule that rotates between the pools after that. I believe there is a few less shows during the week. Again, depending on how busy it is, you will probably miss out of the night time shows as well. We signed up the night before and they were going quickly. There are activities in the mall at night (face painting and balloon animals), but the mall got pretty crazy at night when we were there. Also, the slides closed at 7 p.m. when we were there but that may be because it was cool out. So I would say if you are arriving late and leaving by lunch, it wouldn't be worth it to me. If you stay all day (the day after you check in) you would get alot more for your money since you can stay and enjoy the pools and activities for the whole day.

Let me know if you have any questions.

was if you could get there around noon, the day of your arrival and stay a bit later when you c/o.

I'm having the same issue. We are at Hard Rock Hotel for 2 nights and then one night at the Nick Hotel before checking into the Beach Club at Disney. I know we are going to check out and go to Disney very early in the morning. The question is what time we are going to get to the Nick Hotel from US/IOA. We will have already spent two full days there, so not sure if we will be ready for a quiet pool afternoon or not. It would actually be cheaper if we just stayed at Hard Rock Hotel for the third night..............

Thanks everyone, I'm canceling. I had a great rate at 125 so thought it would be fun but now with free dining on top of everything else, checking into disney hotel makes more sense.
