Need advice on OKW (sorry, long)

We just surprised our kids telling them we will be at OKW for almost a week in April. We have eaten at Olivia's but aren't familiar with the resort. We will have a DD15 and DS10. DD likes to hang out wherever the teens are and to ride her bike (we will bring bikes with us) and DS likes to ride his bike. They also both like to swim. I anticipate we will not spend as much time in the parks on this trip due to crowds and we really want to get to know this resort and enjoy it. DH will be golfing. I will enjoy reading a book by the pool or on the balcony. (unfortunately, I will also be bringing my laptop and probably preparing for a trial)
So, here are my questions:
1. what is your favorite building and why?
2. what do you think we should request, location-wise?
3. can the kids lock up their bikes outside our villa?

1. I don't think there is a bad building, but I do have some that are favorites of mine. Each person has different expectations though. I would think with children the ages of yours, you should look at wanting to stay either near Turtle Pond pool area or near the Hospitality House. I personally like building 55 because of its location at the end of the resort, near the DTD walkway, and on the waterway VERY near the South Point quiet pool. With teens, Turtle Pond is likely to have more young people around. Also near Hospitality House would be another good spont since they could access the main pool more easily, and you would be near Olivias. I assume you are getting a 2 bedroom, but if you are going with a 1 bedroom, request a building above number 32 so you will have the extra door into the bathroom.

2. See above and make choices on which pool you think you want to be near.

3. As long as you have your own locks that do not require something to lock them to. I don't believe there are bike rakes, but I have never looked for them, so maybe there are.

It does not really matter where you stay at OKW. There are 4 pools and 5 bus stops and you are always close to one of them. I have no favorite building. Just request non-smoking or smoking. The bikes you can take right into the front hall way- of the two bedroom-there is plenty of room in the front hall-same for a one bedroom. I trust you are getting a two bedroom.

decide what view you would like - golf, water or woods - building 55 is a water view and so is part of building 18 - my favorites!!! Now if you want a golf view then there might be a better building.

Teens will find each other - don't worry about that!

I request the following - water view close to a bus stop or a pool (depending upon my mood and who is with me)

I have been told that some of the building near the HH also have nice water views - 64? 11? 13?
