I thought the 6 inches of water in the basement was bad enough but now that that has been elimated I accidently tipped over the giant fry daddy all over the basement floor. We just finished drying the basement out after all the water! Of course in my hurry to get it out of the basement it dripped all over the wood deck so now there is oil stain everywhere! Any ideas on how to get the oil stains out of wood and how to get the oil off cement?

I am assuming you have the bulk of the oil off the floor. I do not know about the stain, but I would put some type of powder (or sawdust if you have it) and let it absorb the oil for a while then sweep it up. If it is still slick, try it again.

I'm not sure about the wood, but I know when my husband spilled a whole container of oil in the garage he used cat litter. He just poured a pile ontop of the spill and let it sit overnight. The cat litter absorbed most of it and left just a slight discolor.

You can use cat litter but they do sell something called "oil dry".

Speedy Dry is what it's called. Most auto parts stores sell it. It's designed for motor oil spills, but I imagine it would work for cooking oil.

I have no idea about the wood deck though, sorry.

Thank you! Cat litter is down and going to have to leave it up to my dh about the deck. Maybe its time to stain it now! :) Thanks again

Try putting some Dawn dishwashing soap on the deck or Simple Green, if you have any.
