Hi everyone! My 180+10 day is on Monday. I have finally managed to get my Mom61 to join us on our vacation. It will be her first visit. She is glunten free. I am really leaning toward several classics that we have not been to in several trips because I feel that she would enjoy them. However, I have never had to consider the glunten free opitions. I would really like to hear from some of you that are also gluten free. Thanks!

Friday 11/29 - Ragland Road
Saturday 11/30 - Coral Reef
Sunday 12/1 - Chef Mickey's
Monday 12/2 - Mama Melrose
Tuesday 12/3 - Yak & Yeti
Wednesday 12/4 - Be Our Guest
Thursday 12/5 - Le Cellier
Friday 12/6 - Ohana

You may want to take this to the DISabilities board. My son is gluten free for the first time at Disney this coming trip and I know from precious trips and health concerns I saw gluten free info over there. I will be going there to get info and ask questions myself.

Agree. our party will include a gluten free adult and I've gotten all good info from that board. WDW is quite gluten-free friendly:thumbsup2

Just note the allergy on the ADR. They will bring a chef to your table to discuss your options. They have always been very helpful - from my experience and from what I have read here, they will do whatever they can to help you out. You can do this from the Disney website, unless they have changed it when they switched to the new one.

Also look up allergyfreemouse dot com and allergyeats.com/disney as they have reviews. That might give you an idea of what the possibilities are.

Have fun!

I second what everyone else said about WDW being GF friendly. Went there with my GF SiL last May and we are returning in October, my SiL has mentioned several times that she loves dining at Disney because the Chef coming out made dining out stress free compared to most dining out experiences.

But, you should note that the non-Disney owned restaurants may not be as overwhelmingly accommodating as the Disney owned ones. Yak and Yeti and Raglan Road on your above list are non-Disney owned. Raglan Rd I have personal experience with. When we went there, it was the manager, not a chef, who came over to speak with us. He was able to recite the list of items from the menu that were, or could be made, gluten free, but there was no discussion, like with the chefs.

That said, they have GF fried calamari AND fish and chips, my SiL had missed those from her pre GF days, and LOVED both. Dessert, however, they basically told her she could have fresh fruit.
