Looking for Advice. Want to know if it's worth buying a one day park ticket to Disney World. (probably Magic Kingdom) a day at the end of February or would it be a waste of money due to the number of MyMagic + bands. My twenty-two year old daughter and her boyfriend are headed to Orlando to visit his grandparents. She had planned to spend one day at WDWMK and one at Universal. Our last family trip was in 2011. You all remember, when you could roll out of bed, play it by ear, pick a park, grab some paper fast passes and enjoy your day. I have informed her of the MyMagic bands, their purpose, of the advance reservations of on property visitors, annual pass holders and throw away room people, who will have their times scoped out for the rides. She is sadly considering skipping Disney (a first) and just heading to Universal for two days. Help? Does anyone have advice? Is it worth it to buy the tickets or would they just be turned away at Haunted Mansion, Thunder Mountain, Splash, you get the idea. The thought of skipping WDW is very depressing to her. All suggestions welcome. THANKS.
