Need advice from other teens

ok so i know this sounds corny and like im in fifth grade but here i go

So i have a friend who i really like as a friend, and maybe more than just a friend, but im not sure if she feels the same way. She is one of my favorite people in the world and i want nothing more than for her to be happy. we had plans to go away together this summer, but now she won a contest and is going away all summer with her school . she called me crying yesterday and told me how much she was going to miss me and i told her id think about her all the time and it was wall mushy and everything. so heres my problem. i want to do something nice for her to let her know how much i care about her and i want to let her know how i feel, but im not sure if i should wait till she gets back to tell her or ask her now. Please give me advice on what you would do and also ideas for a nice thing to do for the last time im gonna see her this summer. thanks to everyone that helps.

I think his post is just what's misleading. I think maybe he worded it wrong.

This may hurt, but for the most part it's the truth.

Don't get involved with her. You have a long time ahead of you before you have to actually worry about getting involved with someone in a relationship. Focus on your education first. Go to college, get a good, steady job, and once you have done that, then worry about having a girlfriend. If not, you may get screwed. Think about it.
