NEED advice about Gov't Discount

I have already gotten a gov't discount at The Swan two Decembers in a row. But THIS time I forgot to take a recent check stub out of my desk at work. At home I have my clip-on photo ID, my most recent
W-2 for income taxes ( 2002 ), my current work health card, and my statement of retirement earnings that comes out every year.

I would hate to make a trip back to work just to get my check stub.

Do you think I need to get it?

I would only have Thursday to go get it.

My DH's Dept. of Defense photo ID has always worked just fine.

Do you have any pay stubs at home? The photo ID should be fine, but you might want to call and ask just for peace of mind.

I keep about 2 years of pay stubs in my desk at work. They are organized in neat envelopes. I'm SO organized that I forgot to take one home ! Maybe I will call The Swan, just in case.

Does your photo id have any info on the front or back. My DH says on the back property of US Dept of .....(sorry I can't say). He showed it at check in and the girl said, thats o.k. I don't need it. This was at the swan in august.Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Stayed at Swan last Dec, and upon check in, they never even asked for anything. I even offered to show them my govt. id, but they said they didn't need it.

I'm also a government employee (state) with a desk draw full of about 5 yrs of orderly pay stubs (not a one at home!)....how about this....if there is a problem at check in could you have someone access you desk and fax it to the S/D directly?? Just a thought!

I did call The Swan today. I was told all I needed was my picture ID with my state agency printed on it.

So...I'm OK !

Oh my gosh....I leave tomorrow morning !

I'm so excited ! I hope I can sleep !
