Need a wake-up call - update - just came back!

Hi, everyone

I'm going to DL one week from tomorrow, for the weekend, and can you believe I'm not as excited as I should be?
Stuff has been going on in my life and this trip was planned back in June (shortly after we came back from DL!), and now it just sorta creeped up on me, and I'm not "losing sleep" and "counting down the mins" like I did last time we went.

Please send pixie dust my way so reality will finally hit me, that YES, I'm going to DL in one week!

There will be snow after the fireworks, Small World will be Jingle Belling, Haunted Mansion is Nightmaring, there are yummy holiday treats and the Golden Tree will be up. You will get into the holiday spirit as soon as you enter Disneyland.

I understand completely! There is so much going on in my life that it will be a miracle if I actualy get to leave on my trip. Believe me, once you enter the gates it will all be wonderful. I love it when it works out that you can not worry and enjoy the days, hours, minutes and seconds until your departure, but since that isn't going to be our lot, I will send you pixie dust and hope you enjoy your trip with a light heart and forget your troubles for awhile.

Ah, that's right! The holiday decorations! And over here in the Windy City, it was 70 today! Sure doesn't feel like November...

As soon as you step under the train station, it'll rush up and kiss you on the cheek. Carry a tissue---whenever I've needed a "Disney fix" most, I've cried when I've finally gotten it!

Just wanted to say thanks for all the well wishes. I just got back yesterday! It was great. And yes, when I got to Main Street, I did have tears in my eyes. I was so overwhelmed. We only spent one day there, but we did everything we wanted to. I loved it. I needed it so much.
(By the way, the night before, we were in Hollywood, and DH got to meet Johnny Depp and get his autograph at the Arclight Theater! You'll see that in the pics. DH is the crazy one in the Jack Sparrow costume)

Loved your pictures, we flew out on the 16th November 2002 to spend Thanksgiving over there and it was strange seeing Xmas trees everywhere and Xmas decorations while it was sunny. I had my photo taken in front of the huge Xmas tree in Main Street wearing my shorts and a vest!!!!
