Need a Vera Bradley expert..help!

Just wanted to add that I have a weekender. It fits perfectly under the seat as well as in the overhead compartment.

So I was following this thread earlier... never looked at a Vera Bradley bag in my life, but now you guys have me obsessing about them today!

So if I am understanding right, the large duffel will stowe in the overhead on a Delta plane, and the Get Carried Away tote will fit under the seat?

If I have both, will they definitely allow both as carry-ons? The get carried away tote would be considered my "purse", right?

I am going to Phoenix for 5 days in April, and I'm planning to do only carry-ons, so I'm trying to find luggage with the maximum amount of space, but not so big that they will make me check it. :thumbsup2

Yes. I have never had any issues with taking both, as long as the tote is not so stuffed that it cant fit under (or mostly under) the seat bottom at my feet. Have fun!

Thanks for your help! One last question (I think... :rolleyes1), would you say the large duffel would hold more, less, or about the same amount as a regulation sized carry-on wheeled suitcase? Because I do already have one of those.

I'd say the large duffel would hold more than a carry-on suitcase. I've stuffed a week's worth of clothes in mine.
OP, I have the large duffel and will be using it as my carry-on for my next trip. My last two flights, I used the VB weekender. It was a good size but was cumbersome to carry (too heavy to carry by the short handle, and the long handle cut into my shoulder.)
I've used the large duffel on Amtrak for work-- Amtrak has less room/narrower aisles than a plane, and it's been MUCH easier using the duffel than the weekender. I have my eye on the small duffel, now, for shorter trips-- I have no real purpose for it, but my VB addiction is way too strong! (Only for the travel stuff/small items--zip ID case, etc. Nothing can replace my Coach purse love!)

:thumbsup2 I agree!

Great, thanks! Looks like I might have to break down and buy a large duffel! :thumbsup2

Well it only took me the entire day to decide on a pattern... :rotfl2: But I finally ordered the Large Duffel and the Get Carried Away tote in Calypso.

Now on to the homework I was supposed to have finished by this time... :headache:
