Hello all...I would like to pick up a baseball at Disney World that I can hopefully have signed by Goofy. My only nephew will be turning 1, and his parents are big Disney fans (my brother-in-law dressed in a Goofy costume and proposed to my sis-in-law in front of her 1st grade class....hence the Goofy autograph).

Does anyone know whether I can definitely get a baseball at Disney (and exactly where) as well an any hints on the best place to find Goofy?

Thanks~

We bought a Disney baseball at world of disney in DTD goofy is always at Chef Mickeys

I saw baseballs (and footballs too) at the store in ToonTown. We found Goofy at the greeting area in FutureWorld at Epcot, as well as at the ToonTown Tent.

be sure to take a ballpoint pen...permanent marker and baseballs don't mix...it will smudge and fade....black ballpoint pen lasts longer than blue...just an fyi

There is also an athletics store on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom (the name escapes me), and the last time I was there, I saw baseballs. As another poster mentioned, baseballs are also sold in Downtown Disney.

You could always sign the ball yourself. Did I really say this?:rotfl2:

Okay, so it looks like I'll definitely be able to buy a Disney-brand baseball and don't have to bring my own. Thanks for all of the tips (especially regarding a black ballpoint pen...I'd planned to bring a black Sharpie marker so that was good info).

And JPN4265, don't feel bad...shamefully, the thought of having my DH sign the ball if we couldn't hunt down Goofy had crossed my mind as well (and in all reality, he would be an apt substitute haha)...

If anyone knows approximately how much the baseballs are, that would be helpful for my budgeting...

Thanks to all!

Well, if you do find Goofy, make sure you get a picture of him signing it -- this way there's no way anyone can accuse you of getting a "fake" signature LOL;)

Don't just take a Bic Stick or something; the characters wear large gloves and small pens are hard to handle. Try to get a big fat ballpoint; it'll be easier for Goofy.
