It seems the best way to go is to book with AAA for our weeklong stay in August since I would like a room discount and the dining plan. I've never given control of my vacation to an agent and am a bit uncertain that just calling AAA may get me someone with less Disney knowledge than I have. That would be frustrating.
I have read that I do not have to use an agent in my local AAA office. Is that true? If so can anyone recommend a knowledgeable and friendly AAA Disney expert who could quote me and book for me and will not be uptight if I make changes along the way.
My AAA membership is lapsed but if I can get the package I want I will be happy to renew.
