Need a refresher on booking activities please?

It's been years since I've booked anything for a cruise. I'm getting nervous because my booking window opens tonight. So I've paid in full and I've logged into the website and I'm assuming I click on the Tab that says already booked and then the Book/Manage cruise activities from the drop down menu. But after that, I'm assuming I pick my reservation and then what?
Right now the page has a tab for Cruise details/My Plans. I'm assuming I go to My Plans and... after midnight tonight there will be links to book Palo and other activities, correct?
Any advice or a description of what it looks like so I don't fumble too much?
Is it worth it to try the App for booking things? Or better to stick to the website?

I recommend using both the app and multiple browsers (I used Chrome and Edge). Ours had a virtual waiting room and you don’t know what will open first. The app worked first for me and at least one other person.

Do a web search and you will find videos and tutorials.

The evening your booking window opens then at 12:00am ET you will be all set to start booking excursions and Palo/Remy.

When you're able to check in, you will go to "already booked", "my reservations", then when your reservation is shown, there is a link that says "My Plans". You have to scroll down to each day; for each day you can choose "Dining" (for Palo/Remy), "Port Adventures" (for excursions), "Onboard Activities" (tastings, Bibbidi Bobbidi etc), and "Spa and Fitness". and "Nursery" if applicable.

When you click on dining, another window will open and you determine if you want Palo (and / or Remy) brunch/dinner. If there is space available, a pull down with the time will function. If it's sold out, the pull down window will not function. Be sure to start the process right at midnight plus one minute Mouse time (eastern time) of your open window day to have an opportunity to book something.

Thanks so much!! I'll check those tutorials!!

We found the app so much quicker and easier. That's my recommendation. At midnight, open the app, scroll down and you will see a section titled "Cruise Activities" with links for port adventures, adult dining, onboard fun, and spa.

If you paid for the cruise through a travel agent will this show up on the website or the APP? This is part of what is making me nervous...

a couple more…

before you start, make sure you have all reservations linked to your account. You can see this in the Already Booked section.

you will be able to book for everyone whose reservation is linked to your account, don’t have multiple people doing it separately or you risk
if your excursion has multiple time selections you will also need to use the window for the time selection.

do in the order of how popular they are and how important they are to you, not by day. Have a list handy to check them off.

you won’t get email confirms. When done, make sure to check My Plans to make certain they all show up for each person.

if you have people who are different status, you can only book those who have an open booking window. Booking windows are based on the highest level of the people in their stateroom, not the entire travel party and not each individual.

Both. No difference in booking port adventures and dining when using a TA.
I think they are asking if you SEE if you’ve paid in full on the website or app (i.e. to know you will be able to book activity reservations). I believe the answer is no. But your TA should be able to check for you today.

You can tell. Once you are paid in full, under Already Booked / Cruise Details it has a green check mark and says

We Can’t Wait to See You!

My sister and I compared when I was PIF and she was not and this green checkmark and the language was the key.

If not the entire party has the same status.. how booking activities works? I guess that doing it for each person/party at their own booking window… But that could mean not having certainty that everyone will be there..?

We are a party of 10, split in 3 staterooms, only 1 person has done cruises before .. so we were all hoping on her booking window for the activities…

Any advices pls? Thanks!

Book as soon as you can for each window. We had there platinum staterooms and one gold. We weren’t able to get the gold stateroom onto one excursion.

Ask the port adventures desk or dining team when you board if you can add anyone to things that are sold out. People cancel all the time, just keep checking, especially 30 to 60 days before when cancellation fees add up,

The guests in the stateroom with the person who has cruised before will be able to book activities on her date. Other two staterooms will not. Honestly I would just wait—if it was one or two people who might have to wait for a later booking window I’d say wait and maybe you can add them on. But 9 first time cruisers and one repeat—it will be easier to choose what to book if you can wait to see what is available at the first time cruiser window.
