I would like a referral for my husband and I. We just had a sales contract signed about 5 days ago, but we haven't closed yet and we're still within our 10 day window. I'm going to be calling our DVC rep tomorrow and see about getting the contract rewritten with the discount if I can get a very nice Disboarder to sponsor us.

We purchased in early 2005. We bought in Saratoga Springs Resort. Our initial buy in was 200 points, but then in the early summer of 2005, we added on another 120 points when they had a good incentive program.

We've stayed at Beach Club, Boardwalk twice, Saratoga Springs and Hilton Head. We also went on the 7 night Eastern Caribbean Cruise using points, and most recently, went on the 4 night DVC member cruise (paying cash)

I really wanted to add on more points when were were on the member cruise, but it just isn't the right time financially. We do want to add more points in the future...especially to do other vacations off of Disney property (or the Adventures with Disney)

My DH and I bought into SSR last year and have been thrilled with the decision. The way to get the $86.00 per point is buying through Disney at Saratoga Springs. I sent you a PM with information regarding that. If you are referred by an existing member you will get the $15.00 per point discount.
We love owning DVC and wish we had bought sooner (and had more points!) LOL

Wow, this sounds like a great deal. Does this promotion go on a lot? I am currently on the Beach Club waiting list and don't know when we will get the points we need.

So if you get a name of a current DVC member and say they referred you then you save $15 per point purchased? What does the person who refers you get? I think this is a great idea.
