Need a persuasive speech topic

Needs to be funny, different, not your typical why you should recycle, seat-belt law, abortion topics. I want something different and interesting. I already did Disney for my informative speech. Anyone have any ideas?

I always found it fascinating to try to persuade someone to agree with something I didn't really agree with. Maybe try something that the majority does not agree with (as long as it is not offensive) - like why we should all be taxed more.

I did a persuaive speech in college on why Klingon should be taught as a second language in all public schools. It was pretty darn funny if I do say so myself.

These are the topics I can't do, banned by the teacher- capital punishment, abortion, paying college athletes, greek life, hand gun control, tanning, 9-11, smoking, cpr, weed, drinking and driving, euthanasia, hiv, voting, exercise, organ or blood donation, seatbelts, recycling.

How about choosing a charity or organization that is important to you? The purpose of your speech should be to challenge your classmates to donate to that charity. Point out all the positive facts about the organization. Make it so compelling that your audience will be opening their wallets by the time you're done with your speech.

ETA~ This must be a college speech class, right? BTDT.

I want to do something that they will find interesting but not look so funny either. All their topics were on things like sports, paintball, cancun, collecting shot glasses, advantages of red bull etc. you get the idea. Not really heavy topics.

How about doing it on why everyone should wait to go to college until after a certain age. It could be funny and interesting if done in a tongue in cheek manner.

OK, I think I have my topic. I will need to have research and sources to back up my speech so while some seemed really neat (loved the cheeto one) I don't know if I could find 10 minutes worth of research to back it up. So here's my topic,

Why everyone should eat at McDonald's regularly.
1. They now offer healthy snacks like apples, salads, fruit, milk etc.
2. Most have a playground attached which promotes exercise for kids.
3. They will soon start serving breakfast here all day and breakfast is the most improtant meal of the day.
4. The mcdonald's here now serve mochas and expressos and these are a lot cheaper than starbucks.
5. Mcdonald's dontes to charity and funds the ronald mcdonald house for kids.

So while this is tongue and cheek I could find info to back up my case. What do you guys think.

PS-I really don't like anything there except the amazing fries
