Need a new glue gun

I thought I would get the new Imaginisce with the light, but there have been some bad reviews. I really want one that is cordless and has a stand. I have not used glue guns all that much, so I am not sure if there is anything else that I need to consider.

Does anyone have one that they just love and highly recommend? Thanks in advance.

Mine's just the basic one from Michael's. I don't know what brand it is, but it's red, nothing fancy at all, has a little stand. It's not cordless but it works great for my needs. Sorry I don't have any recommendations for brand names

I haven't bought a glue gun in years. I will say though that unless you really need it to get very hot the cool temp glue guns are easier to use and much less painful if you have an accident. We have always used an inexpensive one from a craft store.

I guess since they are so cheap, I can always pick one up at Michaels with a coupon and if it doesn't work for me, then get another. I was just hoping that there may be one brand that stands out over the others.

My son eats the glue sticks so I quit using mine, but mine was a cheapo I got from Walmart but it still works when I need it

I just got the cordless one from Imaginisce and I love it! I use rechargable batteries, so that is not a problem for me. I like that the opening for the glue is smaller than my other glue guns, which is much better for most of my crafting!
